Dr. Kirti Desai who completed her MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from IPHB and Goa Medical College in 2022, currently serves as a consultant psychiatrist. With over five years of experience, she specializes in the expert management of substance abuse and addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, sexual dysfunction, emotional well-being of the elderly, and dementia care. Her practice also includes addressing the mental and emotional well-being of women during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Dr. Kirti Desai has a strong interest in child and adolescent mental health, focusing on issues such as internet addiction, ADHD, autism, and behavioral problems in school-aged children. She adopts a holistic approach to mental health, integrating medication, psychotherapy, and family and social support in her treatment strategies.
